Woohooo, we are on tip #3 (Use Simple Language). It is best to keep your teaching instructions to the absolute minimum when teaching English. This helps you feel more comfortable and it saves your students some confusion, so it's a two-fer! This video will give you some useful pointers in how to make this magic happen (I have it linked below).
Keeping it simple is so helpful, especially for lower level students. They have a very limited English vocabulary, so it's best to keep it as simple as possible, by giving one word directions and modeling it for your student. This really helps them to know what to expect! Remember the last video on TPR? TPR does play a part in this as well, so bring on the TPR and get your popcorn ready for this next part. 😁⭐
